These are one of the best illustrations ive seen and i would really love to be able to do this. Hard work and massive commitment needed. I have found these on a blog of someone admiring the work just like me. Her style has a old photography look to it and its combined with some very clean drawings, the top image of the 2 shown above is my favourite. This image shows off a japanese style and theme, this can be identified by the japanese people, the text in it and one hing i noticed is that its very hectic and that represents japan very well. The cartoon nature of the design shows the imagination which is common of japan, the monsters of he bear and the cute animals in there are just a small part of this that show a fabulous city greatly.
The second image is way beyond anything i could do but my city being amsterdam i think this could fit its unusual style.
