Cristina Guitian

Whilst creating the cut and paste concept i stumbled upon this website - http://www.thisismyengine.com/client/cristina/index.php

Cristina Guitian's style is amazing, its so creative and unusual that i just want to recreate it. She is a french illustrator and has done quite a lot of commercial work, i tried to find more information but i couldnt find anything.

Some of her illustrations:

Her style to me feels very 1900 this maybe because its more of a upper class theme. She uses a lot of animals in her illustrations..
Her style has an art nouveau feel to it and this may because it seems more upper class than others, her illustrations are random, she also incorporates a lot of animals within her designs and human arms. I really like the way she does her text as it seems to bend and fit round the designs but still be readable, she seems to use serif style font more and that goes with that art nouveau style she has. Her designs are very abstract and im not too keen on this when you relate it to a city but i feel this unique styles shows that everyones own personal style of art can look good and so i may do my own style rather than recreating another.
