The Waves

I now have the shape of the waves but i was struggling with the curling/crashing part at the end, i just couldnt make it look real and it took me a a while playing about with view angles and how it should be looked at but in the end i id get it looking ok.
I tried this first, it has each curling wave having its own long highlight.
You can see it doesnt work and so i finally got to this one which i like and will be keeping, i took out the long highlight for each curling wave and made it look more like what i originally planned (shown in my rough sketch).
I need to do the shadow and highlights now and the waves will be done.

Ok instead of creating another post im editting this post and will continue the wave development.

I have now finished the waves and i really like the outcome, from the image above i have changed the crashing colour against the buildings and instead of adding highlights and shadows i found that the highlights made it look odd so i scraped that and just did highlights. You will also notice a test Yo! Sushi Amsterdam font, the font is very curly and has a unpredictable, fun, playful, happy, creative style and so thats why i as attracted to this font, the font is called "Scriptina".
